We make our living by taking people fishing
We are a group of for-hire fishermen, including charter boats and head/party boats, who own and operate businesses in the Gulf of Mexico. We are concerned about the future of the for-hire industry, and we are exploring how to better serve our customers, count and conserve fish, and build equity in our businesses assets through the development of innovative new management options.
Support for the SOS plan continues to grow and includes fishermen from all states in the Gulf of Mexico. While our core support is centered around the Florida panhandle and Alabama; our outreach efforts continue to bring new for-hire business owners, and other interested fishermen; businesses; organizations and coastal communities on board.
